If you register as a client and use Dove Proofreading, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our Privacy Policy govern Dove Proofreading’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

These terms are a contract between you and Dove Proofreading.

Communications

When you visit doveproofreading.com or send us a message via email, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. All forms of communication with you shall be via email. Thus you consent that all notices and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement and that such communications be in writing.

Prices, Payments & Refunds

Prices:
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars (USD). Unless otherwise stated, the prices for the services are those set out on our website, interpreted as the amounts exclusive of value added tax (VAT), goods and services tax and any similar sale or excise tax (‘Sales Tax’). Any Sales Tax payable in relation to any such amounts shall be added at the current rate, as applicable, and paid by the client.

Payments:
Dove Proofreading reserves the right to request that payment be made in advance of receiving the services via the payment systems available on our website. However, if there’s a mutual Agreement with Dove Proofreading, payment shall be made prior to final delivery of the service.

Purchase prices and invoices may be based on information that you provide to us, including the word count of the documents you are submitting for service. You represent and warrant that such information is accurate, and you agree to pay to Dove Proofreading any additional charges arising from any inaccuracy in such information within eight days of notification thereof.

Refund Policy:
Dove Proofreading reserves the right to grant or deny refunds at its sole discretion. However, a refund will be issued upon request if:

• It happens that your Credit/Debit Card was used fraudulently by someone (Proof will be required)
• There was any overpayment for a particular service.
• You were not satisfied with our service.

Copyright

Clients submitting documents to Dove Proofreading for service retain copyright in such documents, and Dove Proofreading requires no other credit for work completed other than the service fees described on the pricing page. Dove Proofreading does not claim any rights to such documents by virtue of providing its services, and will not use or disclose such documents for any reason other than providing our services.

You represent and warrant: i) that you own or otherwise control all the rights to the documents that you submit to us. ii) that the document is accurate, and that use of the supplied document does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity, and iii) that you indemnify Dove Proofreading and/or its affiliates for all claims resulting from any document you supply.

Dove Proofreading has the right but not the obligation to monitor and refuse any activity or content. Dove Proofreading takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any document submitted by you or any third party. The editors at Dove Proofreading recommend suitable changes to your document that you or any other third party may accept, reject or further amend. The final content of any work is therefore the responsibility of the client or any third person to whom the client licenses, delegates, or assigns control over his or her work. That a document (e.g. a manuscript) has been through our service does not imply any endorsement of its content or of the client.

Disclaimer of warranty and Limitation of liability

Dove Proofreading and its contractors attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that service or product descriptions, other content of this site or services rendered to its customers are accurate, reliable, complete, or devoid of errors. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to relevant Law, Dove Proofreading shall not be liable for any losses or injury which may occur by virtue of Agreement breach, or any implied warranty, any representation/duty imposed on Dove Proofreading by operation of Law.
